Introduction
The Matrix is a 1999 Sci-Fi Film which depicts a post apocolyptic world where humanity has been enslaved by the machines. However the majority of the population are not aware of this as they live their lives in a realistic simulation known as the matrix. The main protaganist Neo is recruited by Morpheous, the leader of the resistance group rebeling against the machines, after escaping matrix as he belives Neo is destined to save the rest of humanity from enslavement. The film explores common sci-fi concepts such as artificial intelligance and simulated reality, while also breifly giving one outcome on how the technology in the film could heavily affect the humanity. If said technology was to be fully developed and widespread in the real world, topics such as legality, ethics and its affects on society must be considered before implementing them.
